The Daylight Charger was born completely by accident.

We then had questions thrown as us.  Why was the fence so important in the first place?  Why didn't we use electric (after all it was an electric fence?!!) - it all seemed so simple to him but had he considered an extension cable some 1500 metres long, trailing up a field in thick mud, being trampled on, eaten!!!  Need any more be said!!!

Suddenly he had the solution - solar power.  We looked at him, humoured him and reminded him we actually lived in England.   He assured us that what he had in mind needed only daylight and asked us to do some research.  Numerous telephone calls over the next couple of days, endless hours on the internet and scouring every inch of every magazine we could find and our research was complete.  Nobody had what we wanted.  An affordable, easy to use unit that would continually charge our battery and keep the fence working.  

A few trips up and down the field and a couple of round-ups later, our friend arrived at the yard, our problem was solved.  We put the Daylight Charger to the test.  We used to the Daylight Charger through all four seasons, and kept our battery charged for the whole period (powering our fencer unit capable of  electrifying five miles of fence - we actually tested it on 1500 metres).

The Daylight Charger is completely safe, and after your initial outlay to purchase it, has absolutely no running costs.  It uses only the earths natural resource of daylight to keep your battery charged.  It can be stake mounted into the ground or alternatively mounted on a fence post or wall.
